Frequently asked questions
What does the AI Visibility Score measure and how is it calculated?
The score summarizes how often and how well your brand appears in ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini answers, on a 0-100 scale. Realistic customer questions for your industry are sent to the models, and the answers are reviewed by an independent evaluation model. Five components are weighted: mention rate 40%, position 20%, context and sentiment 15%, accuracy 15%, and model coverage 10%. The total comes with a letter grade from A+ to F.
What is the difference between memory visibility and search visibility?
In memory mode, a model answers only from what it learned during training; if your brand is not in there, you cannot appear in its recommendations. In search mode, the model checks live web results before answering, so visibility depends heavily on your SEO strength. Together, the two measurements show both your lasting brand presence and your current findability. For now, search mode is measured with Gemini; ChatGPT and Claude search measurements are coming soon.
Why am I limited to 2 scans per day?
Each scan sends dozens of real queries to three separate AI models and carries a real cost. To keep the tool free and fast for everyone, we limit scans to 2 per IP per day. You can scan again tomorrow, and your existing report link stays accessible.
What is my email address used for?
We ask for your email only to deliver your full report; that is what the first consent checkbox covers. The second checkbox is entirely optional — we send content about AI visibility only if you tick it. Both consents are recorded separately under KVKK, the Turkish data protection law; your email is never shared with third parties or included in any AI query.
Why can the score change when I run the same scan again?
AI models are not deterministic; they can give different answers to the same question at different times. That is why the report is a point-in-time measurement of the answers at the moment of the scan. Small fluctuations are normal — what matters is the overall band of your score and its trend over time. Scan at regular intervals to track your progress.
How can I raise my AI Visibility Score?
Models learn about your brand from trustworthy traces across the web. Structured data (schema), consistent brand and address details, mentions in authoritative sources and quotable content all feed both memory and search visibility. This body of work is called GEO — generative engine optimization. At Umay Ajans we provide end-to-end GEO and structured data support; the recommendations in your report show you where to start.
Why is competitor data limited to mention counts?
AI models sometimes produce false or unverifiable claims. For your own brand, we surface these as accuracy warnings; publishing such claims about third parties, however, would not be legally sound. That is why competitors appear in the report only at the mentioned or not-mentioned level, as counts. This approach protects both you and us.
